Worse is Better vs the Right Thing(tm)

Perl, Python, PHP -- to me, they are the Pitiful Programming Perversions. And yet, it moves! As far as running goes, these hacks are certainly better than (e.g. my own) vapourware. Is it that sometimes Worse Is Better? Or maybe rather we perfectionists should overcome the very same paralysis through analysis that makes us more than others aware of the Right Thing(tm). We should get things going, to begin with, so as to someday be able to establish that Right is Right. Seek perfection not in a one-shot static product, but in an incremental dynamic process. Forswear the State, embrace the Tao. Yup, that's it. Just do it. And I mean, NOW!
